NO Farm Tours for July and August

We are cancelling our Farm Tours for this Saturday. We will be at Whole Foods Hillcrest Grower’s Day on Saturday instead! Check us out from 10-2, along with our Farmer Friend, Phil from Sage Mountain!

In August we are hosting the Loew’s Coronado Bay Resort’s BFarmhouse Dinner Series
Join Mistral’s Chefs at Suzie’s Organic Farm for a hands-on farm encounter. Pick your own vegetables, prepare them with our Chefs and then sit down to a flavorful farmhouse dinner. Space is limited. Please call Mistral Manager Paul Goldstine at 619-424-4476 for details.

July 23 Farm to Fork Cooking Class at The Balboa Park Food and Wine School

Come share an intimate experience! Farm Evangelist and Cuisine Creator, Chef Melissa Mayer will bring her her passion and intelligence to the kitchen. She promises to transform our simple farm ingredients into ambrosal morsels. I will be on hand to talk about farming.

I will probably also make a few jokes. Nothing prepared you understand. Strictly off-the-cuff. Melissa may be the straight man. Or I may be her straight man. We can’t decide. We might switch. I may also boogie. Certainly, she will nail it. Anyway, it’s going to be cool. You should join us.
