How will the Suzie's Farm CSA work?
Suzie's Farm offers a box of organically and locally grown produce for a mere $25!
Boxes are $25 each week
Weekly Delivery:
• 12 Weeks – 12 Boxes - $300
Bi-Weekly Delivery
• 12 Weeks – 6 Boxes - $150
We use Farmigo to process our new shares. On Farmigo you will create a unique account, be able to track and make payments, and renew your subscription in a few easy steps! Commitment and payment are on a quarterly basis. We do this because we need to know how many shareholders to grow for.
New accounts will be placed on hold for 4 days. This gives us time to process your account. You will receive your box on the closest delivery date for your designated host site after the 4 day hold. We accept checks, PayPal or credit cards, and if you choose to pay by check, please indicate in the "memo" section under whom the account is listed.
Becoming a CSA shareholder means that you pledge to support our farm in its operations by pre-paying a fee in exchange for a share of the harvest. You have an interest in Suzie’s Farm’s success! Our CSA box is priced competitively with store prices. We’ve eliminated the middle men, fuel costs, and extra packaging, while still able to offer a variety of healthful fruits and vegetables. We are USDA certified organic. We do not spray for disease or insects. Your box may occasionally contain a hitchhiker – or two – and your veggies will look like they were grown by real people, under real conditions.
Each box includes between 8-15 items.
We ask that you please bring your own bags to transfer the produce from your box to your home. Two or three bags should do.
Also, don't forget to break down your box! Push the long sides into the box, gently pull the short sides out of the box, then pull the long sides out of the box. Collapse flat and stack them nicely!
Your box will be at the specified pick-up location on the designated delivery dates and time. The box is guaranteed during the pick-up hours. If you or your agent, do not pick up during the designated hours, your box is left to the host’s discretion. Each host site runs differently.
You are responsible for making arrangements for your box if you are unable to pick up. Please ask a neighbor, friend or family member to pick-up your box for you. We offer one cancellation per quarter and require one week notice.
